The Earth We Forget: A Reflection
We look to the stars with wonder, chasing distant galaxies as if salvation lies beyond. Yet, we forget the miracle beneath our feet—the Earth, perfectly crafted for us. Every sunrise, every raindrop, every breath of oxygen speaks of a precision beyond comprehension.
Despite our arrogance, despite our wars, greed, and restless ambition, this Earth continues to nurture us. We cut its trees, poison its rivers, and darken its skies, yet it still holds us gently like a mother unwilling to abandon her children.
But what have we given in return? Empathy fades, compassion grows rare, and gratitude becomes a forgotten language. We marvel at other planets, but not one of them can carry life the way this one does. The Earth is flawless in its design—balanced, breathable, and alive. A reminder that we were never homeless; we just became blind to the home we already have.
Maybe the real question is not how far we can go into space, but how deeply we can return to empathy—towards each other, towards this planet, and towards the One who entrusted it to us.
